It is Birthday time at our house!

We have alot of Birthdays here the end of October &  into November...
My mom, sister in law, neice in October 3 days in a row... then in November a cousin, my dear Hubby, my sister (turning the big 5 0), me, another cousin, 3 close friends & a couple work colleagues... there is also a family wedding anniversary in November!!!! BUSY!

then the next week I had my sister come visit & had a mini Surprise luncheon party with a couple friend... complete with a dip in the hot tub... we laughed & laughed all afternoon!

My best friend, aka my Hubby went out for a drive to visit an architectural salvage store with My sister & her Hubby... before we met up with them we had to stop for Breakfast first in Merrickville!

then on Sunday we celebrated with the kids... we had cake!

the following week we celebreated my Birthday... here is my mom & baby E!

More Christmas preparation ~ in our classes this month we will be creting Christmas ornaments

Happy Thanksgiving!

October already!  Where does the time go?  We have been spending time with our grand babies... Baby E is already 2 months old!!! K is such a great help with his baby brother.  Excited to see everyone at Thanksgiving...

Back to School!

The air is getting crisper & days are getting shorter ~ Autumn is so Beautiful!


Lots going on this Month ~

I have created a 2 page layout using the 'Babycakes' Workshop on the GO from Close to My Heart ~ 
We are expecting our 2nd Grandson any day now & I am soooo ready!

Sooo from the looks of things you need stand on your head to see this... baaah haah haah... It also shows how you can rotate any page layout to get another pattern ~ it is the image & the witting that determine where the top of page is... huh!  (I will have to sort out how to get them facing the correct direction)

Oh Tommy Boy!

Well I was in a blog hop back in January/February & the paper collection I choose was 'Tommy' ~ 

It was going to be a challenge as it is a nautical theme collection & we are car people!!!

so I played a bit & came up with these 2 projects:

My younger Son & my DH love cars... and they attend many car shows over the years ~ 

And I made this treat container for my DH ~ He is my anchor!

This is an idea of what can be done with our hinged frame & the Tommy Paper ~

April Showers bring May Flowers...and bees!

Good morning ~ All set for spring to arrive any day now ~ how about you?

This is a great paper collection called Buzz & Bumble ~ it is all about bees & I just love it!
I have very good friends that are bee keepers so I think of Shari & Bill at Betsy Bee Homey when I see this collection ~

 We created this 'Workshop on the Go' Layout at our Monthly get together in Kingston ~ 

as well as cards using this paper collection
